The CD & 7 short films were put together in 8 weeks. Before arriving in Memphis I had a list of sounds to locate and record. These were given to me by Memphians after an article in the Memphis Flyer talking about the project and asking them to submit their ‘sounds of Memphis. I increased this list as I peddled and talked my way round town. While completing the recordings I documented all the locations visually – this documentation became the source material for the films that accompany each of the tracks.

The choice is yours. Listen, watch, participate!!!
